Qi Guo received his bachelor degree in China University of Mining and Technology in 2016. He Joined Prof. Huiyang Gou's group as a master student in July. His research interest is high-pressure chemistry and synthesis.
Hongshan Deng obtainedhis Master Degree of condensed matter physics from the Hunan Normal University in 2016. His experience includes sample synthesis using high temperature and high pressure and conventional solid state method; structure measurement using x-ray diffraction; transport,thermal and magnetic properties measurement using PPMS and MPMS. He is now a PhD candidate in HPSTAR with the supervision of Prof. Yang Ding.
Xiao-miao Zhao joins Prof. Xiao-jia Chen's group from South China University of Technology as a joint-training student since 2013. Her research work is focused on studying the physical properties of polycyclic hydrocarbons and two-dimensional eletrical materials under pressrue.
Hong Yang received his bachelor's degree in geochemistry from University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) in 2015. He is currently a master student in Afu Lin's group of HPSTAR. His research is focused on using stable isotopes's behavior in minerals and melts at high pressure to reveal the Earth's evolution and history.
Xiaoling Zhou joined Dr. Bin Chen’s group as a PhD student from Sichuan university since 2014. Her research mainly focused on the plastic deformation mechanisms of nano materials. She was also interested in the mechanical behavior and improvement of materials under high pressure.
Lingkong Zhang joined Prof Bin Chen's group from Nankai University as a master student in 2014 and now is a phD student of HPSTAR. His research work is focused on studying the physical properties of strong correlated materials under high pressure, and magnetic properties of two-dimensional materials, such as magnetoresistance and magnetic field induced oscillation.
Graduated from the university of science and technology of China (USTC) in 2014, Wen joined in Bin Chen's group since the first half of 2014 as an intern,and formally joined as a master student of HPSTAR half a year later. His research work here is focused on using high pressure electricity technology to detech the properties of materials under high pressure, such as metalic-superconducting transformation,magnetoresistance etc.
Xiangting Ren joined HPSTAR as a PhD student from Sichuan University in May 2014. She is working with Lin Wang. Her research is focused on superhigh pressure technique development, novel features of materials at extreme conditions. She also works on the pressure effect onthe photoluminescence of organic perovskites.
Jianing Xu joins the Prof Bin Chen's group from Beijing ninth institute as a PhD student since 2015. His research work is focused on studying the mechanical properties of nano-materials under high pressure, which will use rDAC and rXRD techniques.
Batcher of Northwestern Polytechnical University. Bihan-Wang joins the group of Prof Wenge-Yang since 2015. Her research work is focused on Quasicrystal under pressrue and High Pressure Electrides(HPE).
Yanju Wang is a Ph.D Student from Bin Chen’sgroup in 2016. She got the master degree from Jilin University. Her research interest is the electronic and magnetic properties of the materials under high pressure.
Biao Wan joins Hui-yang Gou's group from Yanshan University as a joint-training student since march 1, 2016. His research interest are theoretical prediction and experimental synthesis of new energy and superhard materials, and exploring their physical and chemical properties under high pressure
