About our Group

   Our current research involves the study of functional materials and multidimensional tuning. Most notable among these are the optoelectronic materials, such as transition-metal oxides (TiO2, ZnO, SnO2, etc.), transition-metal dichalcogenides (MoS2, MoSe2, etc.), and organic-inorganic hybrid materials (halide perovskites).  By using state-of-the-art synchrotron-based and in-laboratory probes, we study these systems by examining their interactions with external stimuli, such as pressure, temperature, magnetic field, electromagnetic radiation, etc.  Our research also involves exploration of novel materials under high pressures (giga-Pascal) and/or temperature for energy conversion and storage applications, such as solar cells, lasers, and batteries.

   我们的研究着眼于功能材料及其多维度调控。重点聚焦光电材料,包括过渡金属氧化物 (TiO2, ZnO, SnO2 等),过渡金属硫族化合物 (MoS2, MoSe2 等),和有机-无机杂化材料 (杂化钙钛矿 等)。我们采用尖端的同步辐射和常规实验表征技术,原位观测材料在外部刺激下(包括 压力、温度、磁场、电磁辐射等),其结构和性质的变化,并深入理解其变化规律。另外,我们通过高压和高低温等极端条件探索常规方法无法获得的新材料和新结构,并寻求其在能源转换和存储方面的应用。 我们的研究方向大致分为如下几个课题:
