Abstract:

Introduce the general features of the beamline of 12.2.2 at ALS, LBL, including the x-ray diffraction, laser heating, resistive heating etc.

Biography of the Speaker:

Dr.Jinyuan Yan is COMPRES beamline scientist of ALS, LBNL. He develops synchrotron-based high pressure techniques and is charge of the user support. He studies materials science at high pressure and high temperature.
