HPSTAR staff participants at SMEC 2015 conference

Director Ho-kwang Mao and HPSTAR staff scientists participant at SMEC 2015 conference, hosted by High Pressure Science Society of America (HiPSSA). This is the 8th meeting of the Study of Matter at Extreme Conditions (SMEC). The focus of the meeting is to promote interdisciplinary research in the fields of geophysics, solid state physics, high pressure physics and chemistry and materials science. The meeting is held from March 8 to March 15, 2015 on a cruise ship sailing from the port of Fort lauderdale, Florida to the Caribbean Islands.
