Remarkable achievements have been made

Since its formation on January 1, 2013, HPSTAR has been vigorously building its laboratories and research platforms at Shanghai and Changchun. Meanwhile, its research work has been organized and conducted as planned. As a multidisciplinary fundamental research institution dedicated to high-pressure science, HPSTAR recruits top scientific talents all over the world, and provides them with sufficient and long-term support and free research environment. Through promoting international collaborations and utilizing global advanced research platforms, like GL, APS, ALS, NSLS, SINAP, Jilin University and others, HPSTAR has gradually made remarkable achievements.

Until October, 2013, more than 17 papers affiliated with HPSTAR have been published in the prestigious and famous magazines, such as Science, Scientific Reports, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, Nature Communications, and Physical Review Letters etc. The reported work covers condensed matter physics, earth and planetary science, materials, high pressure techniques and other areas.
