RTH Lab is seeking a postdoctoral candidate to work collaboratively to explore the physics and chemistry of molecular systems and explore the synthesis of novel materials at high pressure.

The candidate will conduct an experimental program through high-pressure diamond anvil cell experiments using in-house facilities such as Raman spectroscopy, laser and resistive heating techniques in addition to external synchrotron-based X-ray powder/single crystal diffraction studies.

Candidates should have experience and knowledge in high-pressure diamond anvil cell techniques with a strong background in synchrotron-based X-ray powder/single crystal diffraction techniques, and/or laser spectroscopic systems. The successful candidate will be actively encouraged to pursue their own research plan, with a multitude of in-house resources available to utilize.

The postdoctoral fellowship is for one year and can be reviewed for the second year upon satisfactory performance. HPSTAR offers a competitive salary and provides the resources for postdoctoral fellows to be successful.
