Research Interest:
Yan Bi's research concerns mainly high pressure condensed matter physics, with applying the synchrotron X-ray and neutron methods to study equation of state, phase transitions, compressibility characteristics, and electron behavior in condensed matter under extremes. Current work focuses on high pressure phase transition and electron behavior of f electron transition metals, pressure scale and non-hydrostaticity in diamond anvil cell.
