HPSync-JP Consortium
Missions
The HPSynC-JP is a consortium which is aimed to bridge HPSTAR (link: http://hpstar.ac.cn) with SPring-8 (link: http://www.spring8.or.jp/en/), the most advanced synchrotron facility in Japan. Its main missions are to exploit the unique strengths of these two organizations to develop and apply new high-pressure synchrotron technologies, through which to achieve breakthrough scientific discoveries and initiate new types of researches.
Responsibilities
Our main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting world-class high-pressure science, developing and enabling new high-pressure synchrotron techniques, and bridging users from HPSTAR and the beamline scientists at SPring-8 to promote the high-pressure science and research activities.
